In addition, the assessment of the well-being of the employees can be done through audits which look at the physical, mental, and social wellness of the employees. This is vital because the well-being of the employees directly affects the performance of the organization and this demonstrates how important organizational health is to the organization since without performance the organization is as good as dead. For purposes of illustrations let us consider an organization which has the following features as a result of its organizational health: clearly stated and widely accepted objectives and goals; reliable flow of information within the organization; proper utilization of inputs; employees feel secure and satisfied; the organization surpasses its targets; and the organization is able to perceive and solve problems with the least of energy. From these features it is clear that the well-being of the employees is well taken care of since it is mostly measured by the level of employee satisfaction, in addition, the organization is performing within the set goals and objectives which means its performance...

This is a clear indication that organizational health fosters achievement of goals and objectives of an organization. On the other hand, when there is no organizational health then very little can be achieved because either the company is not performing well or the employees are not satisfied and given that these two aspects are interdependent, when one is negative it will pull down the other and eventually the entire organization.
